Every step

A typical project can be divided into 12 steps. Simply scroll down through them here!

Step 1 – the first contact
Just give us a call, or send us a fax, an e-mail or a letter. We’ll gladly meet with you to discuss your formaldehyde needs.

Step 2 – project analysis
Together with you, we define your plant needs (includes new, expanded or revamped plants). And we can help you with a feasibility study.

Step 3 – the complete engineering
The ball is with us here – all the engineering work, adapted to your specifications.

Step 4 – manufacture of components
Made to meet your standards – and the requirements of your local authorities. We inspect our equipment suppliers during manufacturing, and invite you to do so too!

Step 5 – engineering review
We keep in close touch with you throughout the project to assure that everything runs smoothly, including your site preparation work. Consider us as part of your project team!

Step 6 – operator training
Before the start-up of your plant, we invite your personnel to a comprehensive training program (usually held at our site in Perstorp, Sweden), tailored to their needs and experience. Follow-up training can also be arranged after the start-up.

Step 7 – shipment to site
The manufacturing of components usually takes place in parallel with your site preparation work. Storage tanks, utilities etc. are normally built while the components are being installed.

Step 8 – installation supervision
You have access to our experienced engineers throughout the construction and installation of your plant, to assure that everything is done according to specifications.

Step 9 – commissioning
Formox engineers will be on site during the final stages of installation to supervise all aspects of commissioning and start-up, including electrical work and instrumentation.

Step 10 – loading of catalyst
Careful loading of the catalyst is a prerequisite for an efficient operation. Our reloading service assures both speed and accuracy.

Step 11 – start-up
Much of the equipment is actually started during the commissioning phase, so there are no surprises during the actual start-up: you push a button and you’re in business.

Step 12 – follow-up
We view the start-up of your plant as the beginning of a relationship, not the end. That’s why we offer you a lifetime of technical support services.
